Tailgating Series 1: Smoked Texas Cheesesteaks

Ingredients:


4 @wildforkfoods Ribeyes


6 hoagie buns


1/2 white onion diced


2 jalapeños diced


1/2 cup ranch dressing


1 cup Monterey & jalapeño Jack cheese


1/2 cup butter



Directions:


1. Start with seasoning your steaks & place on @traegergrills running 225° w/super smoke until internal temperature of 105°-110° is hit.


2. Pull steaks and let rest for 20 minutes & then slice. Get your griddle heated to medium high heat.


3. Put down 1/4 of butter and then sauté your onions and jalapeños.


4. Add the rest of your butter, and toss your sliced steak down. Mix in with the onions and jalapeños.


5. Once your steak is almost done to your liking, add in the ranch and cheese. Mix until cheese is melted.


6. Slap those cheesesteaks down on the bun, and crush em while you’re cheering on your favorite team during the big game!
