Ingredients:
3/4 cup TX Whiskey Straight Bourbon
2 cups ketchup
3 garlic cloves, minced
½ cup onion diced
½ cup light brown sugar
¼ cup tomato paste
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
½ tbsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp hot pepper sauce or to taste
Directions:
1. Combine onion, garlic and bourbon in a large skillet or sauce pan. Place over medium heat and simmer until onions are translucent.
2. Mix in the rest of ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and let cool. If looking for a smoother sauce, run through a strainer twice. Pair with your favorite BBQ and ENJOY!
